His advisors led him to conclude
The country had oil, but most of it crude.
A refiner sufficiently shrewd
Could build a monopoly true.
His profits shot up as his drills tunneled down
So boundless the treasures concealed underground
Soon he wore the petroleum crown
A baron, a magnate, a star.
